About Me

I am the Owner and Clinical Director of Star Holistic Services Inc., where I offer therapy to individuals of all ages, couples, and families, and facilitate groups and workshops. My work is grounded in extensive experience supporting adults, children, teens, and families in both private practice and child welfare. Earlier in my career, I supported families through complex challenges as a Child Protection Worker and fostered numerous youth through Children’s Aid Societies across Ontario—experiences that deeply shaped my commitment to compassion, safety, and connection.

Alongside my clinical practice, I also serve as a Clinical Supervisor for Registered Social Workers and a Field Instructor for Master of Social Work students at the University of Toronto. I have supported and mentored Child and Youth Workers, Social Workers, and Social Work students, helping them develop reflective, trauma-informed, relationship-centered approaches to care.

My background further includes work as a School Social Worker and Attendance Counsellor with the TDSB, where I provided direct counselling, crisis intervention, and systemic advocacy for children, youth, and families.

I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches—to support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, and major life transitions.

My Approach

At the heart of my work is the relationship between the client and therapist. I believe healing begins with feeling genuinely welcomed—seen exactly as you are, without judgment or pressure to be anything else. My goal is to create a space that feels comfortable, grounding, and familiar—almost like a second home—where you can exhale, be real, and explore what’s happening in your life at your own pace.

I meet clients where they’re at. Whether you arrive unsure of what you need, ready to dive into deeper work, or simply yearning to feel understood, I walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and steadiness. I want therapy to feel natural and human—not clinical or intimidating. Many clients describe our work together as meaningful, supportive, and even restorative, without feeling like they’re “in therapy.”

I see therapy as a collaborative relationship built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. We’ll move through this journey together—building on your strengths, uncovering new insights, and creating changes that feel real and sustainable. You are the expert in your own life; my role is to hold space, offer perspective, and help you access the resilience, clarity, and capacity already within you.
